Barcelona is known as the capital of Catalan modernism, where the famous architect Antonio Gaudí lived and worked. He was one of the great innovators of his time and left in his wake many treasures to discover.
The Sagrada Familia is one of the most visited buildings in the world. We will visit the impressive interior of this basilica, where the vaults reach seventy meters high. Antoni Gaudí designed a plan in the form of a Latin cross with five naves, extremely rich in decoration and symbolism. We will also visit the Sagrada Familia Museum, where you can see sketches, plaster models and where valuable information about Gaudí's life and career is also available.
Then we will enjoy a 45-minute visit to Gaudí's fantastic Güell Park, which has been declared an Artistic Monument and a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Be careful because it's easy to get lost in this capricious design, a perfect integration of architectural elements in nature. Finally, we will walk along the Passeig de Gràcia, to admire the famous buildings of Gaudí such as Casa Milà "La Pedrera" and Casa Batlló, as well as other magnificent modernist buildings.
The tour ends at Casa Batlló - Passeig de Gràcia, 43.
